Responsibilities:

• Launched the International Office's platform (Incoming/Outgoing and Centers: Spanish as a Foreign Language, Volunteer and Internships Programs) at the end of 2002
 
• Created alliances with academic institutions worldwide: Universities and Study Abroad Providers (CSA - AMERISPAN - CIEE - CEA - BROCKPORT COLLEGE STUDY ABROAD - ASA)

• Promoted undergraduate programs abroad: Semester / Year Programs; Short Term Programs (Summer and Winter); Trimester Programs; Intensive Spanish Programs.

• Worked with the Director of International Office to keep track of the International Office’s budget
 
• Maintained the study abroad website with information for prospective and current students, faculty and exchange students
 
• Developed student and academic exchange programs
 
• Coordinated international activities and projects with governmental bodies such as PROCHILE, the trade office of the Chilean government, and ARDP, the regional agency for development.

Achievements:

• Recruited Chilean students from different Chilean universities to teach English in China & participate in a Three-Week Chinese Language and Business Program at Zhejiang Gongshang University, China. [SEPP-CHILE Project - 2006: 12 students recruited; SEPP-CHILE project 2007: 16 students recruited; SEPP-CHILE Project 2008: 40 students recruited] The SEPP-CHILE project was accepted by NAFSA Conference 2008 to participate in the poster session “Internationalizing the curriculum and campus”.
