ISEP Coordinator (2004 to 2007) and SEPP CHILE Coordinator (2006-2009)

ISEP  is a network of over 300 colleges and universities in 50 countries cooperating to provide affordable access to international education for a diverse student population. ISEP students gain intercultural competence through integration into their host institution and host culture while exploring the international dimensions of their academic field.

In order to help students improve their competitive abilities in job-seeking and future professional development, the University Zhejiang Gongshang University in China launched the Spoken English Promotion Project (SEPP) in 2001. In 2006, ZJGSU decided to invite more international students from various countries to take part in the SEPP by providing strong financial support.

The Director of the International Relations Office of the University Zhejiang Gongshang appointed Ms. Ana María Cabello as SEPP CHILE Coordinator.

As SEPP-Chile Coordinator (2006-2009), Ana María recruited Chilean and Latin American university students and professionals interested in participating in the Three Week Chinese Language, Culture and Business Program developed by Zhejiang Gongshang University (ZIJSU). Ana María and her team presented at NAFSA Conference with a Poster Group titled “Internationalizing the Curriculum and Campus: Chilean Students teaching English in China”, in Los Angeles Convention Center in 2009 (NAFSA 2009  Conference and Expo)
